Frequently asked questions.
How do I get started?
Beginning counseling can be a very vulnerable and scary prospect, which is why I offer a 10-minute consultation at no charge.
If you decide to move forward, you will receive an email directing you to my client portal to begin filling out new client paperwork. There you can complete your new client intake forms where you tell me a bit more about what you are looking to work on in therapy and take a few (short) assessments that give a little more background.
Counseling Fees
I offer individual and group counseling for clients aged 18 and up. Please note, that I do not offer child, family or couples counseling.
-
The initial session cost is $225 for a 75-minute session.
-
50-minute sessions are $175.
-
Group fees will vary based on the curriculum. If you’re interested in learning about upcoming group options, click here to join my mailing list.
Payment & Insurance
I am an out-of-network provider with all insurance companies.
Payment is due at the time of services and I provide a statement to be submitted directly to your insurance company. You may be eligible for partial reimbursement if you have out-of-network benefits.

I work with clients aged 18 and up for individual and group counseling. I can see adolescents under specific circumstances, however I do not offer counseling for children.
While I don't offer couples counseling, partners or family members may participate in sessions if deemed beneficial by both parties.

As a licensed mental health counselor, I cannot prescribe any medication.

Life happens! There is no cost if you cancel your session 24 hours or more in advance. If it is less than 24 hours, there is a late cancellation fee of $75 (I give everyone one freebie)! You can opt-in for appointment reminders that are sent out 36-48 hours in advance, so you can cancel if necessary.
